Who we are
Why I started JC Studios
Before this, I worked at a marketing agency. And what I saw there bothered me — clients paying real money, trusting us with their business, and getting back content that was designed to look good in a report rather than actually help them. The agency cared about one thing and that was its own bottom line. I was supposed to be helping people, and I wasn't. Not really.
So I left.
Not because I had it all figured out (at all). Not because I had a full client list waiting. I took a leap because I knew I couldn't keep doing work I didn't believe in — and because I knew there were businesses out there getting sold smoke and mirrors by people who'd never lose sleep over it, and I would.
The businesses I want to work with aren't looking for a content package. They're looking for someone who actually gives a damn about what they've built.
The contractor who's been doing this for 20 years and is genuinely the best in his area — but you'd never know it from his online presence. The consultant who has real expertise that could change someone's business, but can't seem to communicate it in a way that lands. The small business owner who got burned by the last "social media expert" they hired and is rightfully skeptical about trying again.
Those are my people. Not because they're easy clients. But because they care. And when you care about what you do, I can help you show it.
not about content. It's about people.
I'm not going to tell you that you need to go viral. I'm not going to chase the algorithm for you or celebrate vanity metrics that don't move your business. I'm not going to hand you off to someone junior or disappear after the invoice clears.
What I will do is get to know you — who you are, what gets you up in the morning, what you're proud of, and what you want people to feel when they find you online. That's where the work starts. Everything else follows from that.
I started JC Studios to make a real difference in real people's businesses.
It sounds simple, maybe even naive. But I've seen what it looks like when someone doesn't mean it — and I'm not interested in being that person.
